Kitfox Classic IV

The Classic 4 crosses many recreational flying boundaries. In Switzerland, it may be assembled as an Experimental Amateur Built airplane to be flown by a Private Pilot. With thousands sold all over the world the Classic 4 has evolved over the last 25 years to become the icon of the Kitfox. 4130 chromoly tubing structure, folding wings, multiple engine, cowling, and landing gear choices. The Classic 4 is the most copied kit built aircraft on the market today. The Classic 4 continues the original Kitfox tradition of producing a compact, high performance two-place airplane that can be flown with either 2 stroke or 4 stroke power. This Kitfox maintains the tradition of value and low cost. It can be purchased as a complete firewall back package or “ala carte”, that is broken down into sub kits. The Classic 4 can be assembled in a tail wheel or tri-gear configuration and converted between the two configurations after being completed.
